| A neighbor sent the following to the SEHNA board this morning: Just to let you if you would notify the membership of the following sighting of a full grown Coyote roaming the north side of Burton Park on the morning of Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at around 7:30 a.m by Carlisle/San Rafael SE. I actually slowed down, opened my window and said “hello” to him/her. It just stared at me and then started walking westbound in the park’s grass area. You know coyotes like to go after cats and little dogs and kill them for food. Just to alert people in the neighborhood. Please also keep in mind that there have been numerous sightings of Racoons in the neighborhood as well. |
